The Justice Sessions by IJM is a fun and relevant study guide for youth leaders to introduce young people to God’s call to justice as revealed in the Bible. International Justice Mission are partnering with CIYD and launching the resource at this year’s festival.

Thanks to social media and increasing globalisation, a generation of young people are emerging who are more connected to the rest of the world than ever before. Young people naturally have questions about the suffering and injustice they see around them. The Justice Sessions will help them explore what God has to say about injustice.

Each Session begins with an ice-breaker, followed by a discussion of an injustice to help young people understand the issues of violence 4 billion people face every day. This is followed by a Bible study that highlights different themes of justice in Scripture. As different themes of justice are explored, they are set in context by stories from IJM in the field and the teams that have worked for their rescue. At the end of the Sessions, there is an optional 24 hour Justice Session, a fun way of putting into practice what we have learned about God’s heart for justice as revealed in Scripture.

You, your church and your young people can make a difference to those trapped in slavery today.
